Our therapy team works collaboratively with nursing, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver personalized rehabilitation services in a supportive and patient-focused environment. Position Summary We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This position is available as Full-Time and Per Diem . The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans for residents recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. Key Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist and care team Educate residents and families on therapeutic exercises and safety techniques Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Active Florida PTA license (required) Previous experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Benefits Competitive compensation Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) 401(k) retirement plan Continuing education opportunities Supportive team environment and career growth potential Schedule Full-Time: Consistent weekly schedule Per Diem: Flexible scheduling based on facility needs #J-18808-Ljbffr Bluepalmsdeland
