Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is hiring an Associate Veterinarian. This opportunity is ideally suited to a full-time veterinarian, although part-time options can be discussed for the right candidate.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role offers the opportunity to practice the full scope of general practice veterinary medicine. Responsibilities include internal medicine, wellness and preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and other aspects of companion animal care. The hospital is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates at different stages of their careers. Flexible scheduling options are available, with doctor hours open to discussion.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness care, preventative medicine, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. The facility is well-equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in-house laboratories, and additional modern veterinary equipment. On-site facilities include a surgical suite, dental suite, and in-house pharmacy, supporting a broad range of diagnostic and treatment services.

The hospital is supported by a great team of support staff and fosters a collaborative working environment where veterinarians can work closely together to provide high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
