We are helping our automotive client find a direct hire Applications Engineer

Position Highlights:

· Full time on-site role

· Title: Applications Engineer

Background Requirements:

· MUST be authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship

· MUST have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

· MUST have automotive braking system experience

· 3-5+ years of engineering experience in the automotive industry

· Experience supporting brake system development, validation, and launch activities

· Experience working directly with OEM customers and cross-functional engineering teams

· Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

· Experience with APQP, PPAP, prototype builds, vehicle testing, and engineering releases preferred

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

What You Will Be Doing:

· Lead the development of foundation brake systems for new and existing vehicle programs

· Gather customer vehicle requirements, packaging data, and engineering requirements

· Perform brake system analysis and evaluate technical requirements for new programs

· Serve as the technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams

· Support prototype builds, vehicle testing, engineering releases, and product launches

· Assist with APQP, PPAP, quality, warranty, and production-related engineering activities

· Participate in customer reviews, problem-solving initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
