Afterschool/Closing Teacher

We are a dynamic and engaging childcare center looking for a passionate and responsible individual to join our team. Our goal is to provide children with a fun, safe, and educational environment where they can grow, learn, and engage in enriching activities after school hours. As an Afterschool Teacher, you will supervise and engage a group of children in various activities, including arts and crafts, educational games, group discussions, and outdoor play. You will encourage positive behavior, and ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

• Supervise and engage children (ages 4-8 ) in afterschool activities
• Plan and implement educational and recreational activities
• Ensure the safety of children at all times
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment
• Communicate with parents and staff regarding student progress and behavior
• Maintain a clean and organized activity area

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds
• Positive, patient, and energetic attitude
• Must be available to work afterschool hours (2:30-6:30)
• Satisfactory Background Check
