Cath Lab Technician - Electrophysiology Specialist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: Days (07:00 - 17:30) with 4 ten-hour shifts per week. 9-11 call shifts per schedule, including after-hours and weekend call.

The Cath Lab Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Technician is responsible and accountable for performing studies in a timely manner under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services. This role requires the technician to scrub and monitor during procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Scrub and monitor procedures, ensuring timely and accurate performance.
• Collaborate effectively with cardiology staff to support patient care.
• Maintain compliance with safety and clinical protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 3-5 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology.
• RCIS certification required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications must be current.
• Must have experience in both Cath and EP (Electrophysiology).
