Drip titration experience is necessary.Description: The unit consists of 6 labs for pre-op and phase 2 recovery. The average number of cases per day is 20-30. Common diagnoses include GI bleed, strokes, biopsy, central lines, drains, and vascular issues. A Charge RN will be present on each shift from 0730 to 1700 and will not take patients. Staffing includes 1 Patient Care Technician. Shifts will occur 4 days per week with hours between 0630 and 1800. Self-scheduling is not available. Primary and Secondary call requirements are 6-8 shifts every 6 weeks, including weekends. Holiday call is also required, with the department closed on holidays. Call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes. Floating to other units is not required. Surgical scrubs will be provided. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 during procedures and a maximum of 1:4 in phase 2 recovery. Experience in the emergency department, intensive care unit, or procedural areas is preferred.
