Description:
A Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgeon is needed for call coverage.
This position will start on 5/28 and continue for at least 2 months.
After 2 months, the need for sporadic coverage will arise.
The reason for this need is due to a provider's medical emergency.
This position involves providing surgical care to adult patients.
The practice includes a range of procedures such as general cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
Required procedures include coronary artery bypass surgery, congenital defect repairs, valvular repairs/replacements, and aneurysm repairs.
Additional responsibilities include lung resections, chest wall and pleural procedures, and surgeries involving the esophagus and diaphragm.
Other tasks involve performing endarterectomies, managing ventilation, conducting bronchoscopies, and evaluating acute volume and blood pressure issues.
The facility is a full-service acute care hospital with on-site lab and X-ray capabilities.
The facility has a total of 250 beds, including 60 ICU beds.
