Summary
Looking for a Senior Estimator who can lead preconstruction on ground up industrial and large scale commercial projects in the Irvine market. Someone who can look at a set of plans and understand what it actually takes to build it, not just plug numbers into a spreadsheet. This is a high visibility seat with real influence over what work gets pursued and how the region grows.

Key responsibilities

• Lead estimating on ground up work, with a heavy focus on industrial, tilt up, and large commercial builds
• Dig into drawings and specs to build accurate, competitive estimates
• Run detailed takeoffs and pricing models from concept through GMP
• Handle subcontractor outreach, leveling, and bid analysis
• Partner with ops, PM, and leadership on strategy and execution
• Flag risks and opportunities early, before they become problems
• Sit in on client presentations and help sell the company as a builder people trust

Qualifications

• 7+ years estimating with a commercial general contractor
• Real ground up experience, especially industrial work like tilt up warehouses, distribution centers, or large concrete structures
• Track record leading estimates solo from early concept to final pricing
• Strong grasp of means and methods, particularly structural systems and site work
• SoCal subcontractor relationships are a plus
• Comfortable moving fast and owning your work

Requirements

• Procore, Bluebeam, and estimating software experience preferred
• Ability to work at both the corporate office and jobsites as needed
• Strong written and verbal communication

Compensation and benefits

• $135K–$175K base, depending on experience (market estimate, flag if you have their actual number)
