About the Role As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be the primary clinical therapy provider for in-house mental health services at a Skilled Nursing Facility. You’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and facility staff while integrating behavioral and physical healthcare. What We Offer Work-Life Balance: Flexible full-time hours (Monday–Friday) No Nights, weekends, or call Flexible Scheduling: Start your day between 7:00 AM–10:00 AM. Close-to-Home Opportunities: Over 40 established SNF/LTC facilities throughout Chicago and the suburbs Competitive Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 Based on relevant experience, with monthly bonus opportunities Monthly Bonus Program: Productivity-based monthly bonus opportunities Additional Benefits: Healthcare & 401(k) benefits Paid Time Off : 15 days PTO + 6 paid holidays + 1 seminar/CME day Malpractice & Tail Insurance provided Licensure Reimbursement for federal/state nursing and DEA renewals CME Reimbursement : $1,000 annually Employee Referral Bonus Program Professional Growth: Opportunities to grow into leadership, mentorship, or educational roles Innovative Technology: Advanced EMR system to reduce charting time and enhance work-life balance Employee Referral Bonus Program: Earn rewards for referring talented professionals Key Responsibilities Conduct initial assessments and provide ongoing psychotherapy to address mental health issues Manage your caseload and schedule with a minimum of 5 therapy hours daily Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet residents’ emotional, social, and psychological needs Ensure compliance with all documentation requirements, including Medicare and commercial insurance plans Qualifications Licensure: Must hold a clinical license in Illinois (LCSW, LCPC, Clinical Psychologist). Unfortunately, we cannot accept any other licensure at this time Experience: Preference for geriatric or long-term care populations. Understanding of Medicare/Medicaid is beneficial but not required Skills: Excellent communication, multi-tasking ability, and strong patient care skills Additional Requirements: NPI number (we can assist with this process) About You You are passionate about psychotherapy and committed to serving the elderly population.
