Licensed Medicare Agent (LOA)
We are seeking a Licensed Health Insurance Agent (LOA) who is passionate about helping seniors navigate Medicare. In this role, you will educate clients, present plan options, and assist with enrollments while supporting a growing Medicare-focused agency partner.
This position is with a partner organization and is not a direct role with National Contracting Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls with prospective Medicare clients
- Present Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and Part D plans
- Assist clients with enrollments in a compliant manner
- Follow all CMS and carrier guidelines
- Accurately document client interactions in CRM systems
- Collaborate with team members to support client needs
- Provide occasional support for local events and seminars
Compensation
- Paid at an agreed LOA rate- goal of 5 apps per week (Avg. Pay- $850-$1700)
- Renewal commissions paid for one year
- No ownership of book of business
Qualifications
- Active Health Insurance License
- AHIP certification (or willingness to obtain; cost covered)
- E&O coverage (agent-paid)
- 2–3 years of Medicare sales experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with seniors and explaining plan details
- Proficient with CRM systems and virtual tools
- Willing to participate in local events and outreach
- Reliable transportation
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
Requirements
- Reliable internet and phone access
- Ability to follow CMS Medicare marketing guidelines
- Flexibility to work extended hours during AEP/OEP
- Must reside in Mississippi or Tennessee
- Participation in weekly meetings (virtual or in person)
