RN - PCU

Registered Nurse

This position involves providing care for higher-acuity adult patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and complex nursing care. Nurses will be responsible for administering cardiac drips and conducting frequent assessments. Agency nurses may be required to support other areas as necessary. Candidates must have experience accessing and managing ports, administering blood products, and managing BiPAP/CPAP. Skills in telemetry, oxygen administration, and maintaining IVs are essential. Candidates should be capable of interpreting dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases. Experience in managing surgical drains and conducting wound care is also expected. This role requires adherence to isolation precautions and management of various medical protocols. Floating is mandatory if there is a need within the facility. All candidates must comply with health and safety requirements.
