Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Substance Abuse Treatment Facility
We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing healthcare services within a substance abuse treatment facility. The LPN will play a crucial role in delivering direct patient care, working collaboratively with the treatment team, and ensuring the well-being of individuals undergoing substance abuse treatment.
Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Experience or strong interest in working in substance abuse treatment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Empathetic and non-judgmental approach towards patients
- Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols in a substance abuse treatment setting
- Monitor patients' progress, vital signs, and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with facility policies
- Educate patients on substance abuse disorders, treatment options, and wellness strategies
