Clinical Coverage - Nursing

Schedule

Shift schedule varies. In-person interviews are required Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Assignment Details

This position requires clinical coverage in a healthcare facility, focusing on the care of incarcerated individuals with chronic illnesses and handicapped inmates.

Requirements

• Valid state nursing license.
• BLS certification.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical exemptions only).
• Clinical experience managing chronic medical conditions in an institutional setting.
• Experience caring for handicapped or disabled incarcerated individuals.
• Experience evaluating and initiating Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain care for incarcerated individuals.
• Assess and manage chronic diseases among patients.
• Implement and oversee Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address the health needs of patients.
• Document patient care and reporting as required by facility protocols.

Compliance / Notes

Submission requirements include SSN and DOB, as well as RTO at the time of application. Background checks and drug screening may be required.
