The assignment covers both the Extended School Year (ESY) and the following school year (NSY), offering consistent part-time hours.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

• Current, active LPN license valid in New Hampshire
• Experience supporting children or adolescents, especially individuals with cognitive, mobility, or communication challenges
• Familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices or willingness to learn
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative school environment and maintain composure in dynamic settings
• Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to student well-being and dignity
• Must complete district onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting, prior to the start date

Role responsibilities:

• Safely accompany a student to and from school by riding the bus as the dedicated nurse
• Assist with transitions as needed, helping with mobility and use of communication devices
• Monitor the student’s well-being and respond to health needs during transport
• Serve as a liaison to transportation staff regarding student’s medical or adaptive needs
• Flexible coverage of morning (around 7:25 a.m.) and afternoon pickups (1:00 p.m.), Monday through Thursday during ESY, with comparable scheduling for the school year
