Job Title: Assembler I
Location: Wadena, MN
Compensation: $19.00 per hour - paid weekly
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday-Friday

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Assembler I workers for a building materials manufacturing company in Wadena, MN . • Assemble windows, doors, trusses, panels, stairs, or other building products
• Place parts in specified positions and fasten components together using tools and equipment
• Cut products to required measurements as needed
• Operate and tend machinery used in assembly and fastening processes
• Inspect products and remove defective materials when necessary
• Move between workstations based on production needs
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by following safety procedures

What You Need to Bring to the Assembler I Role:

• No experience required; entry-level candidates welcome
• Prior carpentry or construction experience is helpful but not required
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions
• Ability to perform basic math and read a tape measure
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment and wear required PPE
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
