Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Oklahoma City, Quail Springs Culinary (QSC) includes 5 restaurant concepts that operate in 9 states with a total of 78 company owned and franchised locations.

As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and producing high-quality meals that meet the standards of our establishment. Your primary focus will be on food preparation, ensuring that ingredients are handled safely and cooked to perfection. You will work closely with the kitchen team, including Kitchen leads, to execute menu items efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. This role requires physical stamina, as you will be standing for extended periods and moving around the kitchen, including handling kitchen equipment. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our customers through consistent and delicious food production.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen environment.
• Flat top grill experience a must.
• Manual dexterity and physical ability to stand for extended periods and move kitchen equipment safely.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions from Team Leads.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working a fast paced kitchen line
• Flat top grill experience
• Multitasking and following recipes
• Strong teamwork and time management skills.
• Breakfast cook experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Assist the team in daily kitchen operations and food production planning.
• Ensure all food is stored, handled, and cooked in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or needs to the kitchen management.

The required skills such as food preparation and food production are essential for daily cooking tasks, ensuring meals are prepared efficiently and to high standards. Manual dexterity is critical for handling kitchen tools and ingredients safely and precisely. Communication with the team which is vital for coordinating tasks and maintaining workflow. Physical stamina, including standing for extended periods, and moving objects, supports the demanding nature of kitchen work. Preferred skills like experience on Flat Top grills and preparing breakfast food while working in a fast paced. At least one year experience a plus.
