About This Role

At our daycare, we're seeking a dynamic float teacher who can step in and support various classrooms as needed. Their role is to ensure continuity of care and education by filling in for other teachers during absences or busy periods, thereby providing a seamless experience for our young students.

Key responsibilities include:

• Filling in for absent or busy teachers and ensuring continuity of care and education
• Adapting lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of children across different age groups
• Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment that promotes socialization and growth
• Providing guidance and support to children to help them develop essential skills
• Utilizing classroom management skills to maintain order and efficiency
• Developing strong relationships with children, parents, and other staff members

Minimum requirements include:

• Relevant certifications in CPR and First Aid.
• An associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
• Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.

These qualifications help ensure that the float teacher is well-equipped to handle the diverse needs of children and provide high-quality care and education.
