A-Line Staffing is hiring an experienced  Physician Assistant (PA) Float to support a busy, patient-facing retail clinic setting in  San Antonio, TX . This is a  W2 temporary/contract opportunity with a consistent “home clinic” schedule and  optional additional hours for providers willing to float.

Pay: $77.26/hour (W2)

Location: San Antonio, TX 78258 (on-site, patient-facing)

Schedule:

• Home clinic schedule averages 32–33 hours/week over a 2-week period
• Every other weekend (traditional retail clinic schedule)
• Opportunity for  additional hours for providers willing to  float as needed
• This role is  safety-sensitive

What You’ll Do

• Provide evidence-based  primary and family care , including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management plans
• Conduct routine exams and manage patient visits/appointments to support positive outcomes
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care
• Coordinate care and collaborate with a dedicated clinical care team
• Handle clinic operations/administrative tasks such as:
• • Opening/closing procedures
  • Inventory support
  • Patient follow-up
  • Insurance verification and payment collection
  • Maintaining a clean, safe clinic environment

Required Qualifications (Please do not apply without these)

• Active Texas PA license (in good standing; no current  or prior disciplinary actions)
• Graduation from an accredited  Physician Assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification
• 1+ year of recent Primary Care or Urgent Care experience (required)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)

Additional Details / Preferences

• Comfort floating/traveling for coverage (as needed)
• Experience with common  EMR/EHR systems
• Strong communication, organization, and ability to work independently while collaborating with a clinical team
