Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all.We are looking for a technically grounded Data Delivery Lead to drive the execution of data initiatives for our Supply Chain business unit. You will serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and our technical engineering teams, leading the delivery of complex data pipelines and analytics solutions.In this role, you are not just a project manager. You are a Technical Lead who understands the code and the business logic. You are able to work with a modern technology stack that includes Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, github, etc.,. You will manage scope, resources, and timelines while actively overseeing development, removing technical blockers, and ensuring our data products deliver real functional value. You will partner closely with the Data Architect—while they design the scalable architecture, you ensure the solution is built correctly, on time, and meets the business need.This position is based out of the Piscataway, NJ location. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.What you'll do1. Technical Leadership & OversightTechnical Coordination: Coordinate technical resources, assign work to developers, and monitor daily progress. You are the first line of defense for removing technical blockers for the engineering team.Code & Quality Reviews: Act as the primary backup for the Data Architect on technical reviews. You are responsible for performing Pull Request (PR) and code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to platform standards.Pipeline Delivery: Ensure data pipelines are delivered according to business needs and platform standards. You will oversee the development lifecycle to ensure what is built matches the technical specifications.Platform Collaboration: Collaborate with the Data Architect and Platform teams to ensure development activities conform to architectural standards (Snowflake/dbt best practices).2. Project and Delivery ManagementExecution Oversight: Oversee project timelines, milestones, key risks, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.Multi-Project Leadership: Lead the delivery of multiple ongoing projects, ensuring alignment with program and organizational roadmaps.Risk Management: Proactively monitor risks, identify potential issues, and develop mitigation strategies to communicate effectively with project stakeholders.Methodology: Apply Agile project management concepts to ensure solutions delivered are aligned with business goals and deliver a good user experience.3. Supply Chain Data DeliveryData Delivery: Own delivery of data initiatives across demand & supply planning, inventory & working capital, procurement & supplier performance, manufacturing & capacity utilization, transportation, logistics, and order fulfillmentDeliver trusted datasets and analytics for Inventory levels, OTIF, forecast accuracy, lead time, fill rate, and cost-to-serve, supplier spend efficiency, metrics etc.,Lead data delivery across core supply chain systems, including but not limited to ERP (SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Oracle), Planning tools (Kinaxis, o9, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP), WMS, TMS, MES, Ariba and supplier systems.4. Stakeholder Partnership and CommunicationPoint of Contact: Serve as the single point of contact for assigned Supply Chain data initiatives regarding all data engineering and delivery needs.Client Relationships: Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and meetings, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.Translation: Translate business needs into technical requirements and long-term scalable solutions.Facilitation: Facilitate communication and collaboration between business teams and data engineers.5. Resource and Consultant ManagementResource Allocation: Evaluate requirements and allocate resources based on priorities, availability, and expertise.Consultant Oversight: Manage Data Engineering Consultants across internal teams, monitoring their performance, utilization, and project progress.Conflict Resolution: Mediate any issues or challenges between consultants, technical teams, and project stakeholders.6. Standards and GovernanceBest Practices: Enforce standards, policies, and procedures for data engineering practices to ensure consistency.Compliance: Ensure data pipelines and solutions are developed per aligned standards.Technical Alignment: Enforce best practices for data ingestion and ensure the team adheres to the standard internal stack.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Technical Expertise:4+ years total in data engineering, with the most recent 3+ years still hands-on (writing or reviewing SQL, Python, dbt, or pipeline code).4+ years building production pipelines on a modern cloud data warehouse — Snowflake preferred (BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks acceptable).3+ years of recent hands-on experience with dbt (or equivalent: Dataform, SQLMesh) and Airflow (or equivalent orchestrator: Dagster, Prefect).Hands-on experience reviewing and approving pull requests in a Git-based workflow (GitHub preferred).2+ years leading data delivery for Supply Chain operational analytics.Strong working knowledge of Supply Chain processes and KPIs (forecast accuracy, OTIF, inventory turns, lead times, fill rate, supplier spend efficiency, cost-to-serve).Familiarity with the team's working stack — Snowflake, dbt, SQL, Airflow (on Kubernetes / GKE), Python, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Terraform, HashiCorp Vault, HVR / Fivetran, Sigma / Domo / Retool. You do not need expert depth in all of these, but you should be comfortable reading, reviewing, and reasoning about code in each.Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and pipeline design sufficient to oversee and review the work of other engineers.Proven experience leading delivery of multiple concurrent projects across cross-functional teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or a comparable Supply Chain–heavy industry.Hands-on exposure to SAP (ECC or S/4HANA), Oracle, or leading planning platforms (Kinaxis, o9, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP) — even if just consuming the downstream data.Exposure to advanced analytics, optimization, or AI use cases in Supply Chain (e.g., forecasting, inventory optimization, supplier risk).Experience with data quality tooling (dbt tests, Great Expectations, Monte Carlo, or similar).Master's degree in a quantitative or technical field.Experience working in a federated data environment, or managing delivery of highly technical and complex data platforms.Other Skills:Leadership: Strong technical leadership without positional authority — ability to influence peers and prioritize competing demands.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to translate technical detail for business audiences and business needs for engineers.Strategic View: Understanding of how a data delivery roadmap supports broader organizational objectives.Problem Solving: Ability to reduce complexity into simple, maintainable solutions.Federated Operating Model: Comfort operating in a federated / domain-oriented data environment with shared platforms, cross-team dependencies, and data contracts.Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range $115,200.00 - $174,000.00 USDPay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements.
