Night Auditor PositionThe Sheraton Eatontown Hotel is seeking candidates for the position of Night Auditor to join our award-winning team. We understand that small acts of thoughtfulness make all the difference in creating an extraordinary hospitality experience.The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing all front desk activities overnight and must maintain a high level of integrity. The Night Auditor also reconciles all bookkeeping and financial records as well as checking guests in/out and answering any questions from guests.PLEASE NOTE the Night Audit position is an overnight shift, 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. We ask that you do not apply for the position if you are not able to commit to the required shift.Responsibilities & DutiesPerforms end-of-day accounting tasks such as reconciling credit card transactions, occupancy percentages, room charges, cash drawer activity, etcCheck in guests, take reservations, and respond to guest's questionsHandle items related to the lost and found according to company standardsTrack room availability and occupancyMust be able to work independently with minimal supervisionAttend monthly department meetings and training sessions as necessaryKnowledge of all essential aspects of hotel operations/proceduresCompensation and BenefitsThis position offers a starting rate that ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.Part time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's retirement plans (once qualified).Full time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's health, dental, vision, and retirement plans (once qualified).Job Qualifications & SkillsSuperb written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organization and multi-tasking abilitiesJudgment and decision makingStrong knowledge of MS office programsExperience with property management systems is a plusMathematics and reading comprehensionStrong attention to detail Hotels Unlimited
