Registered Respiratory Therapist-Child/ Nights (36 hours)

Position Details Sign-On-Bonus incentive up to $10,000 Education: Graduate from an Accredited College Program in Respiratory Care Licensure: Current state license in Missouri Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physicians' orders or protocol. Determine effectiveness of therapy. Provide ventilator support during cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Maintain life support equipment in intensive care units and other designated areas. Perform duties consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and service standards. Experience and Certifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care. BLS, NRP, and PALS certification (may obtain upon hire). Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, flexibility, adaptability, and judgment necessary to implement medical care plans. Preferred: Prior neonatal and pediatric intensive care experience. Preferred certifications: Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) from NBRC. Preferred Education Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care.
