Location: 4616 E. State Road 64 Bradenton, FL 34208

Status: Full Time, Exempt

Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Weekend Work: Occasional

On Call: Yes

Home visits in assigned service area: Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Tarpon Springs, Oldsmar, and surrounding areas

The Speech Therapist provides hands-on care in the home for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards and protocols. Responsibilities include :

• Evaluating and developing plan of care to implement specific treatment programs for individual patients based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of the profession of Speech Language Pathology
• Conducting home visits and providing services based on plan of care
• Working in conjunction with other disciplines such as RNs, LPNs, therapy, etc.

Required Certifications and Licensures:

• Speech Therapy State of Florida Licensure
• Basic Life Support
• Driver's License State of Florida (Florida driver's license is required within 30 days of hire)

Education:

• Masters Speech Therapy / Speech Pathology

Experience:

• 1 year Speech Therapy healthcare experience
• Preferred 1 year Home Care

This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). More information can be found at
