Production Planning Specialist (Temporary – 3 Month Assignment) - $16-$28/hr

Schedule:

7:30 AM – 4:00 PM OR
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Monday–Friday

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to develop and manage production schedules that support on-time customer delivery, efficient inventory levels, and optimal production capacity. This role works closely with production, materials, and other departments to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Develop long-term, monthly, weekly, and daily production plans.
Create and adjust production schedules based on customer demand and inventory.
Monitor production progress and resolve scheduling or capacity issues.
Coordinate with production, materials, and logistics teams to meet delivery goals.
Identify planning risks and implement corrective actions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
5+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
Bilingual Japanese and English required.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Work Environment

Office setting with regular interaction on the production floor.
Fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Assignment Details

Temporary 3-month assignment
Day Shift: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Full-time, Monday–Friday
