Work Environment

This full-time position is uniquely designed to be fully remote, enabling you to balance professional responsibilities with your personal life. You will work closely with a diverse team of specialists dedicated to mental health and wellness, using teletherapy platforms to deliver care to clients who may be facing obstacles in accessing traditional in-person therapy. Our community health clinic setting allows for a mix of individual and group therapy sessions catered to remote clients, ensuring they receive timely and effective support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to understand each client’s mental health needs and challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote personal growth and optimal mental health.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals, regularly reviewing progress and adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure client success.
  • Provide teletherapy solutions for virtual sessions to enhance accessibility for clients with mobility issues or those who prefer remote mental health care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation as part of ethical practice standards and for effective ongoing client management.
  • Participate in continuous professional development, enhancing clinical knowledge and staying abreast of innovations in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Your compassionate and empathetic approach will enable you to build strong therapeutic relationships, facilitating clients' journeys toward recovery and improved mental wellness.

Qualifications

  • An active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a trusting environment for clients.
  • Strong empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' experiences and struggles.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to efficiently handle caseload responsibilities and administrative duties.

Preferred Experience

Experience in teletherapy practices and familiarity with virtual therapy platforms will be considered an asset. Additionally, expertise in treating addiction and collaborative care for clients with co-occurring disorders may enhance your effectiveness in our supportive environment.
