Job Description Job Summary: Seeking a highly skilled Travel RN for Pediatric Cardiac ICU to provide specialized critical care for neonatal and pediatric patients with congenital heart conditions. The role involves delivering advanced nursing care during high-acuity shifts and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive cardiac critical care nursing to pediatric patients post-op and during complex procedures.
- Administer medications, including inotropic and vasopressor infusions, and manage chest tubes and IV therapy.
- Monitor patient status utilizing Phillips monitors, Medfusion, and Baxter pumps, ensuring timely response to changes.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate families and support them through the congenital heart journey, promoting family-centered care.
- Document patient data accurately in the Meditech EMR, maintaining compliance with unit policies.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent PICU nursing experience with a focus on cardiac care.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Proficiency in peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and ECMO bedside procedures.
- Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and support a busy PICU environment.
