The position is located in Cincinnati, OH & will work a Flex/Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week on-site . Relocation assistance may be provided for highly qualified individuals. Purpose: The Project Head will report into the PPMG (Project and Portfolio Management Group) and be the DRI responsible for delivery of all aspects of their New Product Development (NPD) program, driving cross-functional collaboration, creating a unified results driven team, and raising issues to Platform leadership, as necessary. This role requires strong collaboration skills and partnership with R&D, Global Strategic Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Finance. The role also requires familiarity and experience in medical device development and understanding of global regulatory and clinical requirements. You will be responsible for: Accountable for end-to-end execution and delivery of their New Product Development (NPD) program, including scope, schedule, and cost. Owns Communication of the program status, including program planning, tracking, and risk management, proactively identifying issues, driving mitigation plans, and accelerating progress to meet business objectives. Leads cross functional program execution as the single point of accountability, partnering effectively with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Finance, and Marketing. Establishes and maintains disciplined operating rhythms, including core team meetings and milestone planning, that promote clarity, accountability, and efficient execution. Manages the program triple constraint (time, scope, resources) by securing tradeoff decisions, escalating risks appropriately, and resolving cross-functional challenges. Drives decision-making by developing scenarios, assessing trade-offs, and clearly communicating implications. Champions an inclusive, high performing team culture that values diverse perspectives, psychological safety, and shared ownership of outcomes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in an engineering or scientific discipline is required; an advanced degree, preferred. A minimum of 10+ years of new product development work experience is required Minimum of 3 years working in a regulated industry experience is required Demonstrated success leading regulated programs through market introduction is required A results and performance driven demeanour with strong sense of accountability is required Proven ability to lead and influence across a complex, matrixed organization is required Strong capability in strategic planning, execution, and operational excellence is required Demonstrated leadership through change and ability to navigate ambiguity is preferred Ability to develop talent, build inclusive team cultures, and drive sustained performance is preferred Experience in medical device development, including Class II and/or Class III prod #J-18808-Ljbffr
