Sports Camp Counselor - Chester YMCA

Chester Family YMCA is seeking part-time sports camp counselors to help with our summer sports camp program. There will be a multitude of sports such as soccer, basketball, kickball, flag football, floor hockey and dodgeball. This part time position starts at $14.00 per hour. We are asking that all counselors are available 9 of the 11 weeks during the Summer. DUTIES of a Sports Camp Counselor Sports specialists should be available to work evenings and weekends to help facilitate practices and games. QUALIFICATIONS of a Sports Camp Counselor Sports specialist should know the basic rules of the sport, work well with young people, be able to multitask, and communicate effectively with parents and children. If you are interested in helping with a specific sport but don't have experience, we will train you! Sports Camp Counselors should have an enjoyment of sports, being outdoors, and working with young people.
