About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with GSK SOLUTIONS INC to find a qualified OR RN in Watertown, New York, 13602!

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN Circulator) for a travel assignment in a high-acuity surgical environment. The RN will provide perioperative nursing care, ensure patient safety, and support a wide range of surgical procedures in a fast-paced OR setting.

Specialty Focus:

• General surgery and diverse OR cases
• Experience with aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation
• Ability to function in high-stress surgical environments

Requirements

• Active NY Registered Nurse (RN) license 
• Minimum 1+ year OR required or Medical-Surgical experience preferred
• Required:
  • BLS (AHA) certification
• Preferred:
  • ACLS (AHA) Certification
• Strong knowledge of:
  • OR nursing principles
  • Surgical safety and patient positioning
  • Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation
  • Clinical equipment and instrumentation

Additional Requirement:

• Must be willing to work call shifts, weekends, and holidays
• 30-minute on-call response time required
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced OR setting
