Work with a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students ranging from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade—all at one convenient school site near Spokane, WA.

Your expertise in speech and language services will help students reach their communication potential. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals as you provide both direct therapy and essential participation in the IEP process. Your experience with AAC devices will be valued, though it’s not a requirement. Holding your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred, but strong candidates working toward the credential will also be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Washington SLP license (or eligibility)
• CCC preferred; open to candidates without CCC
• Experience in school settings and with pediatric populations
• Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) a plus
• Strong skills in evaluation, IEP development, and therapy documentation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals for diverse learners
• Deliver a full range of SLP services including articulation, language, and more
• Consult with teachers and families to support student progress
• Maintain timely, accurate records and documentation
• Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
