Position Overview The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across a variety of settings, including acute care, emergency services, and critical care. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Key Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator support Perform patient assessments, monitor respiratory status, and respond to changes in condition Manage mechanical ventilators and assist with airway management Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and interpret results Provide emergency respiratory care in ER and ICU settings Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations Education and Certification Requirements Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Active Arizona Respiratory Therapist license or eligibility required BLS and ACLS certifications required PALS certification preferred New graduates welcome to apply Preferred Experience Acute care experience Emergency room (ER) and intensive care unit (ICU) support Experience with mechanical ventilation and airway managementProficiency in arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis Familiarity with critical access hospital environments Why Join This Opportunity?
