Housekeeping Aide

Facility: West Delray Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Position: Housekeeping Aide Location: Delray Beach, Florida Schedule: Part-Time | Day Shift Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour Join Our Team! West Delray Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to help create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. If you take pride in your work and enjoy making a positive impact every day, we'd love to have you on our team. Job Responsibilities Perform daily housekeeping duties throughout the facility. Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, elevators, and stairways. Dust, polish, and disinfect furniture, fixtures, mirrors, windows, walls, and ceilings. Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip, wax, buff, and disinfect floors. Shampoo, deodorize, and disinfect carpets as needed. Safely mix and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer instructions and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Follow all infection control, HIPAA, fire safety, and workplace safety policies and procedures. Properly use safety equipment when lifting or moving heavy objects. Coordinate housekeeping services with nursing staff to meet resident needs. Report accidents, unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions, or maintenance concerns promptly. Turn in lost-and-found items to the appropriate supervisor. Attend required in-service education and training programs. Qualifications Ability to work independently and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Willingness to accept feedback and learn new cleaning methods and procedures. Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and handle cleaning chemicals. Professional demeanor with respect for resident privacy and confidentiality. Preferred Experience Previous housekeeping experience in a nursing home, rehabilitation center, hospital, or healthcare setting is preferred, but not required.
