Job Title Pulmonologist Position Type Salaried, Full-Time Job Location Kansas City, MO Job Duties Provide a full spectrum of treatment options to help patients suffering from pulmonary issues such as chronic cough, asthma, pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, COVID-19, etc. Provide high‑level care to patients suffering from acute, life‑threatening lung conditions in the Intensive Care Unit and provide services which include bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, bronchial thermoplasty, and pulmonary function tests. Focus on diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases affecting the lungs and related organs in patients with emergent conditions. Stabilize patients suffering from serious conditions that affect their ability to breathe. Provide other services as required by the department. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) or foreign equivalent. Completed fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Board Certified/Board Eligible in both Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. Missouri medical license by the time of appointment. Less than 1 year of Doctorate degree experience.
