Jr. Project Manager (Cx)
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing small to mid-scale Customer Experience projects for successful delivery of objectives, on time and within budget. Initiates, engages, and motivates cross-functional teams to deliver results. Identifies and mitigates risk and escalates as needed. Tracks progress and drives documentation to support project needs. Ensures end to end leadership for implementations, integration, business readiness and communications. This position will work in partnership with CX Strategists and Digital Product Managers to champion insights-driven strategies, evidence-based decision making, and continuous innovation that elicit valuable customer behaviors.
Essential Functions:
- Plans and designates project resources, monitors progress, tracks schedules, and mitigates risks for Customer Experience initiatives.
- Champions the customer experience across the organization and encourages actions that align with customer goals and needs.
- Provides end to end project management support in terms of reporting, project deliverable tracking and documentation for medium-size projects.
- Acts as a liaison across all areas to ensure effective and efficient goals, scope, progress, and completion of projects.
- Coordinates issues throughout CareFirst, and externally when necessary, to promote accurately represented information.
- Evaluates implications of existing or proposed projects, programs, processes, and policies/regulations using critical and creative thinking and recommends improvements.
- Provides direction and motivation to project teams in a matrixed environment. Drives outcomes by fostering a collaborative culture.
- Manages relationships with key stakeholders, including management and vendors. Leads the execution of the project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Project Management, Marketing, Business Management, or related field
- 3+ years experience in project related field and/or progressive marketing project management experience
