MRI Technologist Position

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a hospital position in Waltham, MA. The MRI Technologist will perform magnetic resonance imaging studies, prepare and position patients, set imaging parameters, acquire and process images, and ensure MRI safety and quality assurance. The role requires collaboration with radiologists and clinical staff, IV insertion and contrast administration, routine QA documentation, and the ability to rotate to different MRI scanners within the department.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of a Medical Imaging Program (certificate or diploma). Associate's degree preferred.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
• Advanced MR certification (ARRT or ARMRIT) required within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Competence in IV catheter insertion and intravenous administration of MR contrast agents, including use of MR-compatible power injector.
• Experience performing routine outpatient MRI exams with and without contrast and optimizing scan parameters for diagnostic quality.
• Ability to perform scheduled MRI quality control procedures and document results.
• Ability to rotate to MRI scanners across the assigned department as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years' experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• Experience working with multi-vendor MRI platforms preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume hospital MRI department preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 14:30–22:30.
• Schedule pattern: 40 hours; examples include Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri/Sat in week 1 and Sun/Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri in week 2.
• Must be able to rotate to MRI scanners across the assigned department.
