Experienced Litigation Paralegal

Haworth Barber & Gerstman is a growing Insurance Defense Litigation trial practice. Our team resides in New York and New Jersey and work on a wide variety of matters involving trucking, general liability, construction, product liability and more. We are seeking paralegals with 2+ years of Litigation experience for both our New York, New York and Hackensack, New Jersey offices. Haworth Barber & Gerstman is looking for energetic and creative team members. We have an open-door policy and are looking for staff that want more from their career. Self‑motivated organizational and time‑management skills. A willingness to be responsive to attorneys when they call or email. A willingness to master your deadlines. A willingness to better our industry and your work environment. The ability to review and maintain files through trial. The ability to draft, obtain and follow‑up on discovery including all medical records. The ability to draft, review and assemble motions. Must be technologically confident, comfortable using case‑management systems and effectively utilize available technology. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to coordinate attorney calendars. Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and adversaries.
