RN - TELE - Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the Telemetry unit at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for IMCU patients and possess the required certifications. This position requires flexibility to work shifts from 2PM-2AM or 1AM-1PM, including every third weekend and a minimum of two major and two minor holidays. Candidates must be willing to obtain ACLS certification if not already held and hold a valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact).

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to IMCU patients using evidence-based practices
• Monitor and respond to patient emergencies efficiently
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care services accurately using hospital technology

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (single state or multi-state compact)
• Minimum of 24 hours non-billable hours
• ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelors preferred
• Proven experience with direct patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies professionally
