Registered Nurse - Traveler

Location: Woodbridge, VA

Work Shift: First (Days) - 7a-7p

Overview:

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14 week temporary position in the Medical Surgical department. The RN will be paid $75/hr and must have 2 or more years of recent RN bedside inpatient medical surgical care.

Responsibilities:

The RN is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice and professional performance encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.

Requirements:

Education: RN Degree - ADN, BSN or MSN

Certification/Licensure: Valid RN License to practice in Virginia, Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Experience: Must have at least 2 years of recent bedside RN experience in inpatient medical surgical, med/surg. EPIC documentation system experience required. BLS, NIHSS required.
