Job Title Senior Project Manager – Healthcare Commercial Construction Location San Jose, CA Employment Type Full-Time Base Salary Range $125,000 - $185,000 About The Role Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex healthcare commercial construction projects in the San Jose area. This role requires a strong background in managing large-scale medical facility builds, including hospitals, outpatient centers, and specialized clinical environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in regulatory compliance, stakeholder coordination, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end project management for healthcare construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and healthcare stakeholders Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, codes, and safety standards (e.g., OSHPD/HCAI requirements) Oversee risk management, quality control, and cost control processes Facilitate regular project meetings and provide clear status reporting to leadership and clients Manage subcontractor performance and contract administration Drive problem-solving and decision-making in fast‑paced project environments Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field 8–12+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a strong focus on healthcare projects Proven experience managing large, complex healthcare builds In‑depth knowledge of California healthcare construction regulations and permitting processes Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project) PMP certification or similar credential is a plus Preferred Experience Experience working with hospitals, surgical centers, or medical office buildings Familiarity with infection control risk assessment (ICRA) protocols Experience managing projects in active healthcare environments Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) Performance-based bonuses Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr Diamond Peak Recruiting
