Join our Neuro Trauma Recovery Brain Injury Unit, 8N! Primary Patient Population: Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Primary skills utilized/learned: Assisting patients with all aspects of personal hygiene, eating & drinking Answering call lights & taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, height, weight, and other parameters as instructed). Performing/transmitting basic ECG and phlebotomy. Personnel PCNA will work with: LPNs, Registered Nurses, Nurse Interns, Behavioral Observers, Providers, Social Workers/Case Management, Respiratory Therapy, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Art & Music Therapy, Dieticians Number of beds on unit: 19 beds MetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance. Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and effectively problem-solving skills. Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications: Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (NOTE: Maintaining ODH Registry status as an STNA is optional after employment in this position). 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital. #J-18808-Ljbffr MetroHealth
