Wound Care Nurse
Job Summary:
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Wound Care Nurse looking for a challenging and rewarding role? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! At Onyx Care of Farmerville, we are committed to providing exceptional post-acute rehabilitation to our patients, and we are seeking a skilled and experienced Wound Care Nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized wound care services to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of wound treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address patient needs and goals
Conduct wound assessments and report findings to physicians, other healthcare professionals, and families
Implement evidence-based wound care practices and protocols to promote healing and prevent complications
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound care techniques and self-care strategies
Document patient care in accordance with facility policies and procedures
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement activities
