Field Sales Account Executive

We are seeking a results-driven Field Sales Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets by identifying, prospecting, and securing new clients, while building long-term relationships and serving as a trusted advisor in the payments space.
PayJunction's platform integrates seamlessly with a wide range of business management softwares, with particularly strong traction in the automotive industry. This role will focus heavily on engaging automotive businesses-including dealerships and service providers-while also supporting opportunities across other professional service verticals such as dental, veterinary, and legal services. Location PayJunction takes a Flex First approach to work environments. This means that our team members can choose to work from our Santa Barbara office or remotely from home. Mission Our Field Sales team's mission is to drive revenue growth by building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying and closing new business opportunities, and expanding market share through strategic sales efforts. Responsibilities
- Client Engagement:
- Conduct in-person meetings and product demonstrations with prospective clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
- Pipeline Development:
- Prospect, cold call, and leverage referrals to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Convert qualified opportunities into successful deals through a strategic approach.
- Sales Execution:
- Navigate and close sales contracts with confidence and precision.
- Consistently achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Market Research and Strategy:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
- Leverage market insights to tailor sales approaches for maximum impact.
- Local Networking
- Attend networking events, and applicable conferences to promote PayJunction's brand and solutions.
- Sales Forecasting:
- Provide accurate and reliable sales forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Minimum 2 years of field sales experience
- Minimum 2 year of experience in the payments industry
- Minimum 1 year of experience selling directly to the automotive sector (e.g., dealerships or service providers)
- Experience in both the payments industry and automotive vertical strongly preferred
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to diagnose client needs and propose tailored solutions
- Experience with contract negotiation and closing sales
- Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Excellent territory knowledge and the ability to network effectively within the assigned region
- Exhibit strong active-listening skills
- Self-motivated, resilient, and highly organized with strong time management skills
- A current, valid driver's license

The base salary for this role is $74,200/year plus commission and benefits. PayJunction is an equal opportunity employer.
