JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: 102127 Profession: Physician Specialty: Pulmonary Critical Care Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Las Cruces, NM 88011 Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Call Only Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing Call Schedule: 24-hrs Call Type: Beeper Call Ratio: 1:1 Call Response Time: 30 mins Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 15-25 patients/day Rounding: Assigned Patients Phone Consults: 3-5 FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Medhost Support Staff: 12 RNs, 4 MAs, 2 APPs, 2 Office Staff PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Duties & Responsibilities Provide on-call coverage for pulmonary and critical care patients. Manage ventilator management and airway emergencies. Perform consultations for pulmonary issues in the ICU. Respond to rapid response calls and codes.
