Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Mid/Evening Shift (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM) | Alternating 36/48-hour weeks (84 hours biweekly scheduled, 72-hour guarantee) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective treatment
• Accurately document patient information and clinical findings using electronic health record systems
• Respond to and manage high-volume and trauma patient presentations

Required Qualifications

• Active and in-hand Registered Nurse license required prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience required; 3 years preferred
• Candidates with 2 years of experience must have background in a high-volume or trauma facility
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile local radius; local candidates will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• Background in high-volume or trauma-level emergency care environments
