What you'll do

Evaluate and treat hospitalized patients to assist in regaining physical and cognitive skills needed for daily living
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe discharge planning
Document patient progress in compliance with hospital protocols
Assist patients in improving mobility, daily activity function, and cognitive abilities
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure optimal patient care

What you need

Required:

Valid occupational therapist license in Michigan
Minimum 1 year inpatient experience preferred
Strong assessment and treatment skills in a hospital setting
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred:

Experience working in acute care or rehabilitation units
Knowledge of hospital documentation systems
