Job Summary

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse — Night shift — Location unspecified. This role involves providing advanced patient care for adult and geriatric patients in a mixed telemetry and Intermediate Care Unit setting. The position requires IMU Level RN certification and experience with cardiac, respiratory, and vascular procedures.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
• Education Requirements: Valid state license; compact license accepted if applicable.
• Experience: At least 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Location Requirements: Must have a valid state license; candidates within a 50-mile radius preferred.
• Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Qualifications: Must be IMU Level RN for this PCU only, with experience in post/cardiac cath, breathing treatments, cardioversion, Wound Vac, PICC/Central line care, and cardiac monitoring.
• Responsibilities include managing complex cardiac cases, ventilator management, telemetry, central line access, Wound Vac care, and procedural sedation monitoring.
• Candidates should have relevant skills in blood product administration, epidural pump management, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Submittals require two references covering one year within the last three years, and responses to specified questions about previous experience at Providence facilities.
