Registered Nurse (RN) 1:1 School Nurse
We're hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a specialized 1:1 school nursing assignment supporting a high school student.
Location: Wheaton, IL 60187 Assignment: August 2026 May 2027 Schedule: Part-Time | Tuesday & Thursday | 7:00 AM 2:30 PM Caseload: 1:1 High School Student
Position Details:
- 1:1 support in a high school setting
- Work directly with a student requiring complex medical care
- Student uses a sip-and-puff wheelchair
- Trach and ventilator support
- Urinary catheterization required
- Must be able to assist with lifting as needed
- Collaborative school environment
Requirements:
- Active Illinois RN license required
- Prior school nursing experience required
- Prior experience with trachs and catheterization required
- Must be comfortable providing care for a student with complex medical needs
- Must be able to lift if needed
- Prior critical care experience preferred
- No LPNs
