Ratios 1:2 can go to 3 patients depending on acuity and overflow patients (or stepdown)
Required Certifications ACLS
Common diagnoses/Types of patients sepsis, ARDS, ARF, cardiac dyshythmias, post operative complex care, Overdose, Behavioral health medical complexities
Experience or 'Must have' skills central line care, arterial lines, bedside brochoscopy, cardiac arrest AHA guidelines
Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes
Common titratable &/or set rate drips cardizem, propofol, amiodarone, norepinephrine, presadex
Floating Requirements Medical Surgical Peru and Ottawa
Scrub Color/Dress Code solid color scrubs or OSF attire must maintain dress code policy
