Job Details Location: Ann Arbor, MI 48109 Setting: Operating Room / Level I Trauma Center Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: 12-hour day shifts with rotating day/evening coverage options Hours: 36 hours per week Call: Required, including weeknight and weekend call coverage Weekend Coverage: Up to 2 weekend call shifts per 4-week schedule Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370 Job Requirements Active Michigan RN license in hand at time of submission Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or trauma OR setting required Epic charting experience required BLS certification required CAC certification required General OR and trauma experience required Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment Responsibilities Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy Operating Room environment Support a wide range of surgical cases, including trauma, orthopedic, general surgery, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, and more Assist with circulating and/or scrub responsibilities based on unit needs and experience Maintain patient safety through strict adherence to sterile technique, universal protocol, and infection prevention standards Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure smooth case flow Document accurately in Epic and maintain clear, timely communication throughout the surgical process Participate in call coverage and respond to urgent and emergent surgical cases as needed Deliver compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity, fast-moving setting Apply now for this Operating Room RN travel job in Ann Arbor, MI, and take the next step in your Michigan nursing career today.
