Base pay range $32.00/hr - $37.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Ledgent Business Solutions Manager at Ledgent Finance and Accounting Ledgent Finance and Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with financial statement experience for a non-profit partner in the St. Paul area. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and will play a key role in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes. This role is suitable for someone with a solid understanding of accounting principles and a proactive approach to process improvement. Pay: $32-$37/hr Hybrid/Remote (1 day/week remote) Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (flexible) Temp to Permanent hire Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP (or IFRS as applicable). Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation. Maintain and update accounting records and files. Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Support budgeting and forecasting processes. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. Assist in implementing new accounting standards and process improvements. Work cross-functionally with other departments to gather financial information and support operations.
