Collections Specialist - Eurofins Environment Testing - Barberton, OH

Collections Specialist position managing client account portfolios at an environmental testing company. Role involves contacting clients for payment of overdue invoices, resolving payment conflicts, maintaining account records, and reporting to management. Position is primarily remote but requires local residence in Barberton, OH with occasional onsite work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain assigned large client account portfolios
• Contact clients verbally and in writing regarding past due invoice payments
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies using accounting software and Oracle
• Update Collections Manager on account status, negative payment patterns, and client issues
• Process credit card payments and maintain accurate account notes in collections system

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year collections, accounts receivable, or customer service experience
• Computer skills and proficiency with accounting software
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Problem-solving, negotiation, and active listening skills

Compensation: $20/hr
